So I've been active these last few weeks - in a physical way, not so much online.
ms150 - done! It was an amazing feeling to finish after completely locking up the quads and hams the previous day, but thanks to good coaching and the grace of God, I was able to finish the next day by 12:30. I know it's no big feat -- Scott finished at 11:15!!!! but I do have to say the two days sparked an interest in endurance sports I hope to suffer from for a while!
I love it when you just live life, and God answers you in the deepest cries of your heart, for that reassurance is like nothing else. Diana got baptized -- even though I wasn't there, it brought tears to my eyes thinking of it.

SuperFOOD!
I'm responding to to a list found here
Top 10 Multitasking Super Foods
- Low fat or fat-free plain yogurt- best had with fresh fruit. I've once confused this w/cream cheese - very short-lived (thinking it was healthy at least.
- Eggs: only whites for me please... unless of course I forget to buy them pre-done in a carton... then I might let in an occasional yolk... If forgotten, yolk will be let in for the plate-filling factor - weird, ay?
- Nuts: yummy - but what the heck are the big cornucopia looking bitter or taste-like-nothing ones?
- Kiwi: um yah! yummy, but why are they so expensive? Maybe even on the Starbucks scale
- Quinoa: recently found out it's pronounced (Keeen-wah) great when mixed with brown rice.
- Beans: I think I fart enough without eating them, so I don't - I think I should though
- Salmon: delicious, raw, cooked, ginger-plank anybody? Line caught please - once again - eXpensive
- Broccoli: always in season, a fart potion - so I try to keep it to a dinner thing.
- Sweet potatoes: a recent tolerance of mine. I don't get it b/c it's not exactly delicious to me. It was told to me that it perhaps is the best thing to buy in the produce section...so I started buying it. thank goodness for the potato setting on the toaster oven. I burned 4 of these babies so badly they disintegrated within the foil --- STINKY!
- Berries: yummy and tangy and good for you - though they have sugar. I'm not a big fan of sugar, but can eat berries like they're going out of style--that's why I think that sugar can be an issue... Why are berries so expensive :(
